all: add optional close_fds feature to reproducers Instead of always closing open fds (number 3 to 30) after each program, add an options called EnableCloseFds. It can be passed to syz-execprog, syz-prog2c and syz-stress via the -enable and -disable flags. Set the default value to true. Also minimize C repros over it, except for when repeat is enabled.
syzkaller is an unsupervised coverage-guided kernel fuzzer.
Initially, syzkaller was developed with Linux kernel fuzzing in mind, but now it's being extended to support other OS kernels as well. Most of the documentation at this moment is related to the Linux kernel. For other OS kernels check: Akaros, Darwin/XNU, FreeBSD, Fuchsia, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Windows, gVisor.
