Snap for 7183507 from 4ce34f22a26324c1f70b1d9e38619ce08ce11e80 to sdk-release Change-Id: Ia6e8e7cf9e10405d76a13f0960a63a3740062f2f
Implements the Xorshift random number generator.
The Xorshift[^1] algorithm is not suitable for cryptographic purposes but is very fast. If you do not know for sure that it fits your requirements, use a more secure one such as StdRng
or OsRng
.

rand_xorshift
is no_std
compatible. It does not require any functionality outside of the core
lib, thus there are no features to configure.
The serde1
feature includes implementations of Serialize
and Deserialize
for the included RNGs.
