  "message": "Handle `RestoreChildren()` failures and ensure to refresh the non-volatile settings. (#1543)\n\nThis commit makes the following changes:\r\n\r\n- It updates `RestoreChildren()` to detect error cases where the\r\n  saved children info is invalid or if there are more children\r\n  stored in non-volatile settings than can be restored.\r\n\r\n- In case of such errors, it is ensured that the content in\r\n  non-volatile memory is refreshed (through newly introduced method\r\n  `MleRouter::RefreshStoredChildren()`) so that it stays in sync\r\n  with the child table.",
