Release version only checked in release builds. Bug 5743293 Release version is alpha rather than numeric on non-release branches because the version isn't really known. In these branches, the version falls back to a fixed, but changing value. The version is disabled for these branches. Change-Id: I1c33a0c581bbdf179cee1fb5832849186516522a
