Aconfig: update cpp codegen Update cpp codegen to read from both old and new storage for RW flags. After comparison return old storage value and add a logcat log if the value matches between the two storage pipeline. This codegen change is not applied to nextfood build (as it is controlled by the build time flag RELEASE_READ_FROM_NEW_STORAGE). In addition, the additional logic to read from new storage is guarded by a RW aconfig flag. Bug: b/321077378 Test: m and tested on a raven device Flag: build.RELEASE_READ_FROM_NEW_STORAGE, com.android.providers.settings.storage_test_mission_1 Ignore-AOSP-First: will fix any incompatibilities caused by this change in git main first, and then cherry pick it back to aosp Change-Id: I9305bffa984ccae14543ffdce13974ab912e1c17
This is the Makefile-based portion of the Android Build System.
For documentation on how to run a build, see Usage.txt
For a list of behavioral changes useful for Android.mk writers see Changes.md
For an outdated reference on Android.mk files, see build-system.html. Our Android.mk files look similar, but are entirely different from the Android.mk files used by the NDK build system. When searching for documentation elsewhere, ensure that it is for the platform build system -- most are not.
This Makefile-based system is in the process of being replaced with Soong, a new build system written in Go. During the transition, all of these makefiles are read by Kati, and generate a ninja file instead of being executed directly. That's combined with a ninja file read by Soong so that the build graph of the two systems can be combined and run as one.
